Okay, Quattonians, you've heard of i^2= -1, but have you heard of i^2= j^2= k^2= i j k= -1? If you use this structure, then you can create these 4D numbers. And you can actually use this to understand 3D and 4D rotations in the same way that you can use imaginary numbers to understand rotations in 2D.
