in linear algebra we can project one vector onto another with this formula in geometric algebra this formula gets simplified slightly because the inverse of a vector is the vector divided by its magnitude squared however this new formula actually works for any geometric object not just vectors for example with a vector and a bi Vector this formula projects the vector onto the bi Vector the formula Works in other flavors of geometric algebra as well for example in 2D PGA we can use this formula to project a point onto a line
